Patrick V. Johnson

Patrick V. Johnson, a member in Speeter & Johnson, has over 30 years of experience as an attorney practicing in the areas of corporate law, business litigation, real estate, and contract law. As corporate counsel, he advises several medium size corporations which do business throughout the Midwest. If you are considering starting your own business, Pat can offer you legal advice in setting up your corporation.

As an appellate advocate, Pat has argued many cases before the Minnesota Supreme Court, Minnesota Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals. He has been lead or associate counsel on a number of nationally prominent cases involving education issues. He has served as a District Court Arbitrator (Hennepin County).

Pat also sub-specializes in the area of personal injury. His representation has resulted in several large settlements, including the largest laser eye malpractice settlement in Minnesota (with Gerald Keating), as well as several large motor vehicle injury cases.

Pat’s experience, education, and ability to listen critically to his clients are the tools he uses to effectively represent his clients. He believes that “candor and common sense go a long way in seeking solutions for clients’ needs.”
