I cannot thank Bob and Shanlee enough. I would describe the care they gave to my matter as holistic, making sure that I was comfortable with the process, encouraging me doing the things that would enhance my well-being and be favorable to the court, and that I was fully satisfied with the outcome.

My legal matter was very daunting and at times seemed an insurmountable obstacle to moving forward in life. But the entire process was so clearly explained with easy-to-follow instructions given by the Speeters, that I felt even going into court that whatever the outcome, it would be manageable. They worked hard not just on the legal matters (and covering every angle of those matters), but making sure I had a sense of security throughout. Bob and Shanlee are an amazing duo and are doing some great work. I was asked by a young family member for help to clear up a legal record. While I thought the matter would be a little more straightforward, they offered so much more than legal advice. My family member needs to address addiction issues before we can work on legal records. Bob and Shanlee are doing such deep and meaningful work. They were firm yet loving and kind. I walked away from the first meeting amazed by their knowledge, and understanding of addiction and all the ugly arms and legs that go along with it. I feel blessed to be working with them. It’s just what our family needed right now. As Shanlee said -“it takes a village to raise a child” – I agree.

Bob and Shanlee were an amazing team to work with. They worked tirelessly and with full attention to our son. While we found our first experience in the criminal justice stystem sad and painful, Bob and Shanlee supported us through the entire process. They provided amazing resources, peronal insight, and emotional support on days that seemed unbearable. Most impressive, was their commitment to our son and his future. Their interest was not only in the legal process but in helping our son address his own wiring. Even as the process has concluded, Bob and Shanlee remain in contact for support and continued resources within our community.

Robert Speeter and Shanlee Speeter were supremely efficient and forthcoming to me about my case and my plans to remain law abiding after the fact and the life I wish to lead going forward. The judgement on my case was fair because of his efforts. Not only that but I also revived tremendous support every step of the way by him and his team including Shanlee who went beyond the call of duty.

Robert Speeter and Shanlee Speeter were amazing for me. They are a treatment based team. They got me into treatment and handled all my legal affairs while I was in there. And counseled me when I needed it. They work so well as a team! Robert took on my criminal AND chips case. Even though, he doesn’t normally handle chips. He got the felony charge dropped! He also handled my DWI case back in 2011. So I was a repeat customer! Needless to say, without the support of Bob and Shanlee, I don’t think I’d be where I am today.  Shanlee truly was one of a kind when it comes to supporting addiction!

Robert has a great personality. He was thorough, complete and very informative. Shanlee was so helpful and so organized and made my life so easy. He was great at keeping me updated with all the information I needed. I would definitely recommend him for any personal injury cases.

Mr. and Mrs. Speeter was easy to work with and he explains everything as simply as possible- it made it way less of a burden for me when I was going through rough times. He made it affordable for me and I’m very thankful for that. Couldn’t have asked for better!

I was arrested for a DUI last December. I was referred to Bob by a family friend whom said “He was the best”, and she was right! He never judged me or made me feel embarrassed for my arrest. Bob Speeter has helped our family out a couple of different times, most recently he helped my daughter who was being wrongfully accused of a hit and run accident. Since the Minneapolis Detective assigned to the case opted out of doing his job , Bob and my daughter had to do all of the leg work. Bob directed us as to where to go for what info. and helped us get what we needed, and after 14 long months the case was finally dismissed, all because Bob believed in what was right and did’nt give up… I would reccomend him to anyone that needs a lawyer that cares and goes above and beyond !!!!!

I was charged 3 times for DWI Gross Misdemeanors and Bob Speeter defended me. He came to see me when I was arrested and in jail. He explained my legal challenges with compassion and understanding. He did the work, he is experienced, aggressive and understands the law. Bob had good re pore with Prosecutors and Judges. There are alternatives to jail and he fought for me. He encouraged me in my recovery. I have so much respect for him.  I also have major respect for Shanlee as she helped me in every way beyond legal charges and will be a friend for life.

Mr Speeter goes above and beyond his duty to make sure his clients are taken care of and are kept informed and handles your case as though its his only one.
